The JA Management team is made up of John Peartree and his two sons Andrew and Chris.
Chris Peartree joined the business in August 2019. He graduated from the the University of Southampton in 1992 with a degree in Economics and Business and then pursued a career in teaching these subjects at GCSE and A level. Having taught for 25 years, he was looking for a career change and took the opportunity to join JA Management when it arose. He is now in charge of the day to day running of the business and so is mostly likely to be your main contact with JA Management.
John Peartree worked overseas with the Hong Kong Land Company for 13 years before returning to the UK and founding his own property management company, JP Management, which managed large blocks of flats in central London as managing agents and also ran a large portfolio of rental properties on behalf of landlord clients. He was active in trade associations and was for some years the CEO of the Federation of Private Residents Association (FPRA) and General Secretary of the UK Association of Letting Agents (UKALA) of which he was also a founder member. With over 25 years of experience in UK property management, he is now partially retired and works exclusively on JA Management.
Andrew Peartree first became involved in the business in 2011 on a part-time basis while also studying at University. Since graduating from the University of East Anglia with a first-class degree in Economics in 2014, Andrew worked full time on JA Management and successfully grew both the block and rental management sides of the business. He now takes a more ad hoc role in JA Management as a non-executive Director
We also have London representatives and a team of experienced contractors who can attend to repairs and maintenance and redecoration – or total refurbishment if required. Some of the buildings also have residential caretakers.
